Capodimonte Floral Vase

Capodimonte dates back to the early 18th century in the area of Naples. The father of capodimonte is considered to be Charles of Bourbon (1716-1788).  He and his wife founded the " Royal Manufactory of Porcelain" in 1743. Capodimonte hit its peak in the 1780's in terms of production at the royal factory. This particuler piece looks to have been done in the 20th century following capodimonte style.
